Champagnie

Champagnie is good to go after initially being questionable for Thursday’s game. He should take on a similar workload after logging 29 minutes in Tuesday’s blowout loss to the Bulls.

Champagnie was also questionable ahead of Tuesday’s loss to the Bulls, a game in which he played 29 minutes off the bench. If available, he’ll take on a similar role on Thursday. Jamir Watkins may take on additional minutes if Champagnie can’t play.

Coulibaly and Champagnie will return following one-game absences after the pair sat out Sunday’s matchup with the Nets. Jamir Watkins and Leaky Black should see their roles reduced with Coulibaly and Champagnie back in action.

Champagnie could miss a second straight game, which would likely allow Julian Reese to get another start at center, with Anthony Gill playing the power forward minutes. Both players played over 40 minutes in Sunday’s loss to the Nets.

Champagnie will sit after logging 21 minutes in Saturday’s loss to the Heat. Leaky Black should figure prominently in the Wizards’ rotation, especially with Bilal Coulibaly and Tre Johnson also out.

Despite his right knee contusion, Champagnie played 21 minutes in Saturday’s loss to the Heat, finishing with 12 points, 10 rebounds, two assists and one steal. If he plays, there may be more minutes available, as starters Bilal Coulibaly and Tre Johnson are also questionable.

Coulibaly, who continues to deal with bursitis in his right heel, played 25 minutes in Saturday’s loss to the Heat. If he can’t go in Brooklyn, Justin Champagnie could move into the starting lineup. However, Champagnie is also considered questionable due to a right knee contusion.

Added to the Wizards’ injury report on Friday night, Champagnie is set to play on Saturday. He played 21 minutes in Wednesday’s loss to the 76ers and should take on a similar workload against the Heat.

Due to a right knee contusion, Champagnie is a late addition to the Wizards’ injury report. If he can’t play, the impact of Champagnie’s absence would depend on the availability of Bilal Coulibaly, who is also questionable. Will Riley, who recently moved into the starting lineup, will have added importance if Champagnie and Coulibaly sit.

Coulibaly has been dealing with tendinitis in his left heel for a few games, most recently sitting out Monday’s loss to the Lakers. While he was available for Wednesday’s loss to the 76ers, the Wizards’ wing only played 19 minutes. Jaden Hardy and Justin Champagnie are two players whose minutes may increase if Coulibaly sits.
