After playing in France last season and being waived, Drew was back in stateside for D-League action and Summer League. He wasn’t very impressive in his five Las Vegas games, averaging 7.2 points, 3.8 assists and 3.2 turnovers.

The 27-year-old PG spent some time in Lithuania last season and also played in 10 D-League games, averaging 8.1 points and 5.9 assists. The 76ers have 12 players under contract for next season and five draft picks this year alone, so Drew’s chances of getting a training camp invite are likely slim.

He’ll be the 18th player on the roster, but he’s not expected to make the cut for the final 15. Drew had a strong showing at the Summer League and carried that momentum over to the 2017 FIBA AmeriCup to help Team USA win gold. The 27-year-old PG will be a candidate for a two-way contract and will likely spend most of his time in the G-League.

He’ll head down to Miami’s G-League affiliate, where he’ll spend most of the 2017-18 season.

Drew made 12 appearances with the 76ers last season with averages of 3.8 points, 3.8 assists and 1.3 boards per game, but it may be a while before he gets another shot at the NBA. Drew is not on the fantasy radar.

He has only played 10.0 minutes per game through five appearances, so there are no fantasy implications here. Drew II will just be emergency depth until further notice.

Drew will end his evening with nine points, one rebound, two assists, one 3-pointer and one block over 15 minutes. He should be able to get back out there for Detroit’s next Summer League game, but there’s really no way he’ll be on the Pistons’ regular-season roster this season.

Drew was waived after signing in training camp late with Miami. He’ll continue to develop his game in the D-League.

The Sixers are in desperate need of point guard depth with Tony Wroten (knee) sidelined and Michael Carter-Williams rumored to be on the trade block. Drew will reportedly be available for Friday’s game against the Pelicans, but he doesn’t belong on standard fantasy league rosters.

Like his dad’s rotations, there are going to be some inconsistencies in Larry Drew’s game. He made some really nice passes tonight and he should remain as the backup point guard until Tony Wroten (knee) can return. He’s only worth a look in very deep leagues.
