Signed to a 10-day contract earlier this month, Lovering made his first professional start on Friday. And the rookie was productive, recording a double-double in 32 minutes on the floor. While Lovering’s contract status makes him challenging to trust in most fantasy leagues, Friday’s performance and Memphis’s lack of healthy post players may earn the 7-footer a second 10-day deal.
