  • CLE Shooting Guard #76
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Cavaliers have signed Luke Travers to a two-way contract.
Selected by Cleveland with the 56th overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, Travers remained in Australia for the last two seasons. Playing for Melbourne United, he finished last season with averages of 12.0 points, 7.6 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.0 steals, 1.0 blocks, and 0.7 3-pointers in 26.3 minutes. Under normal circumstances, a player on a two-way deal would face significant odds in the quest to crack a rotation. However, Cleveland still has not agreed with Isaac Okoro, a restricted free agent, on a new deal.
  • CLE Shooting Guard #76
Luke Travers revealed recently that he will remain in Australia to continue his development next season.
A second-round pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, Travers stayed in his native Australia for his first professional season in order to get the playing time needed to develop. He’ll be in a similar position next season, as the guard said in a recent interview that he saw “no point” in signing a two-way contract when he can continue to develop in Australia. Travers will play for Melbourne United, and his decision will not impact fantasy basketball.
  • CLE Power Forward #15
Isaiah Mobley and Luke Travers, the 49th and 56th picks in the draft, both played well for the Cavs in their Summer League finale, a loss to the Hawks.
Mobley, who is Evan’s older brother, had 15 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and a 3-pointer. Six of his boards were offensive and he’ll be playing on a two-way contract for the Cavs this season. Travers had 14 points, five boards and a couple threes but will be playing overseas this season. R.J. Nembhard wrapped up a strong summer with 16 points, six assists and five boards, and Cam Young added 15 points, scoring in double figures in all five SL games.
