Milt Palacio, recovering from a minor break in his left wrist, is expected to begin full contact practice tomorrow.
Palacio could play as soon as Monday.

Milt Palacio said Thursday that his left knee is feeling great and healing well following microfracture surgery performed about a month ago.
Palacio becomes an unrestricted free agent in July, but he continues to rehab regularly at the Jazz’s practice facility and remains open to the notion of re-signing for a second season in Utah.
  • OKC Point Guard
Milt Palacio has signed with Bnei Herzliya in Israel.
Palacio was waived by the Sonics in 2006 and will not return to the NBA no matter how he fares abroad.
  • OKC Point Guard
Milt Palacio returned from a two-game absence for personal reasons and had eight points, three rebounds and three assists for the Raptors.
He won’t have much value as long as Rafer Alston is healthy.
  • OKC Point Guard
Milt Palacio had 18 points and seven assists in 30 minutes tonight to help lead the Raptors over the Knicks.
Rafer Alston did nothing wrong, but coach Sam Mitchell decided to stick with Palacio late. It’s probably not the start of a trend.

Raptors reserves Milt Palacio, Morris Peterson, Lamond Murray and Matt Bonner, averaging 28 points per game, have given themselves the name The Zoo Crew.
“We’re like a bunch of caged animals who come off the bench,” Palacio explained. The foursome tallied 50 points in the victory over the Knicks Wednesday night, and are often on the court with the clock winding down in the fourth quarter. One might think the Raptors were in ruins with a losing record (6-7) and the constant distractions around Vince Carter, but the Zoo Crew, the solid additions of Rafer Alston and Loren Woods to the starting lineup, and an awful Atlantic Division have them in first place.

Milt Palacio missed tonight’s game for undisclosed personal reasons.
    Consider him day-to-day.
  • OKC Point Guard
Milt Palacio, filling in for suspended Rafer Alston, just missed a triple-double with 13 points nine rebounds and seven assists for the Raptors.
Depending on whether or not Alston is in Sam Mitchell’s doghouse, Palacio may or may not continue to start. In any case, it’s worth watching this situation.
  • OKC Point Guard
Milt Palacio suddenly has value again, after playing 40 minutes and finishing with 14 points and nine assists.
No, Rafer Alston is not hurt. He’s just back on the bench as the season-long feud between he and Sam Mitchell continues. Until they get it resolved (which really could end up being never), Palacio is worth owning.
  • OKC Point Guard
As expected, Milt Palacio got the start at point guard for the Raps tonight, and had 11 points, six boards and six assists in a big come-from-behind win.
He played 33 minutes to Rafer Alston’s 31, and could continue to start for awhile. It all depends on how Sam Mitchell feels about Rafer’s 16-point second half that helped the Raptors overcome a 22-point deficit. If Palacio is going to continue to get 30 minutes a night, he’ll have value.
