Apparently, Lou Amundson’s workout with the Cavaliers went well.
The 31-year-old forward still has enough juice to garner extended NBA looks.

Maybe the Cavaliers want him just for training camp, but they have enough unguaranteed contracts to make room for him on the regular-season roster.
With LeBron James, Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving, Cleveland is set on stars. It needs players to do the dirty work – players like Amundson was.
As I wrote before, I really like Amundson with the Suns four years ago. But his game was all energy, and I’m not sure he can still sustain it as his age.
First, Amundson must show his motor can keep humming throughout training camp. If he does, we can talk about a regular-season roster spot. If not, he’ll be an easy cut.
