Draymond Green left the Golden State Warriors, missing their game Thursday night in Brooklyn (and it showed in the first half when the team struggled defensively) because his son — Draymond Jamal Green Jr. — was born that same day. The team told Green to take his time and come back when he was ready.

He’s ready.

Green will be back in the lineup Friday night when the Warriors take on the Pistons in Detroit, as Green himself let the world know on social media. Here’s the story via CSNBayARea.com.

Late Thursday night, the Warriors forward took to social media to let everybody know he was en route to Detroit.

Via Snapchat, Draymond posted a video of a private plane waiting for him with the caption: “Wheels up to the mitten.” He also looked into the camera and said: “Back to the grind.”

Obviously, this also means he’ll be available for the Christmas Day game against the Cavaliers.
