George Hill makes one-handed, and-1 three in crunch time to help Pacers snap Cavaliers’ 12-game win streak (VIDEO)
The Pacers always seem to play their best when LeBron James comes to town, and despite the fact that Indiana came into this one with a record of just 18-32 on the season, the team was able to bring a defensive intensity to the game that was good enough to beat one of the league’s hottest teams.
The Cavaliers saw their 12-game winning streak come to an end, in large part thanks to this circus shot made by George Hill in the game’s closing minutes.
The Pacers trailed by one with under 1:30 to play, and as Hill used a screen from Roy Hibbert to try to get free from Kyrie Irving, the referee blew the whistle as Irving tried to fight through. Hill threw the ball up with one hand, and it splashed home, giving the Pacers a critical four-point play when his team needed it the most.
