Looking for backcourt depth, the Miami Heat are bringing in guard Tyler Johnson from the D-League, according to Joe Goodman of the Miami Herald:

Former Heat camp invitee Tyler Johnson has been signed to a 10-day contract to back up Dwyane Wade. Heat likes Johnson’s defensive energy.

Johnson, a former Fresno State player, was a member of the Heat for training camp but was cut before the start of the regular season. He’s played for the Sioux Falls SkyForce of the D-League this season, averaging 18.4 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game.
