Rockets’ Terrence Jones out at least a week with collapsed lung

Denver Nuggets v Houston Rockets

Denver Nuggets v Houston Rockets

Bill Baptist

Rockets forward Terrence Jones spent the night in the hospital to have what was believed to be a rib injury observed.

The diagnosis is in.

If that’s as serious as it sounds, Jones will miss much more than a week.

Joey Dorsey should move back into the starting lineup, and Donatas Motiejunas will have to take a larger share of the responsibilities shared by Houston’s bigs. There’s a little more urgency for Dwight Howard to return soon.

Jones provides a much bigger scoring punch than Dorsey, so James Harden will have to pick up even more slack – boosting his MVP résumé in the process.
