Paul Reed (personal) is questionable to play against the Pacers on Saturday.
Reed missed Thursday’s game against the Suns and could remain out for a second straight game. However, with Jalen Duren (ankle) back and Isaiah Stewart healthy, Reed won’t see the floor enough to make an impact for fantasy managers whether he’s available or not.

Jalen Duren (ankle) is available for Thursday’s game against the Suns.
Thursday’s game will be Duren’s first since New Year’s Day. He and Isaiah Stewart (illness) will be the rotation centers, with Paul Reed unavailable for personal reasons.

Paul Reed (personal) is out on Thursday against the Suns.
No word yet on the reason for Reed’s absence or how long it might keep him out. With Jalen Duren (ankle) listed as probable for Thursday’s game, Reed was set to see his playing time diminish in the coming games.
  • DET Center #0
Jalen Duren (ankle) is probable for Thursday’s game against the Suns.
Duren was at practice on Wednesday, and Thursday’s game could be his first since New Year’s Day. With Isaiah Stewart (illness) also probable, Paul Reed’s playing time will decrease, even if a potential minutes restriction for Duren keeps him in the rotation.
  • DET Forward-Center #28
Isaiah Stewart (illness) is out for Sunday’s game against the Clippers.
Added to the Pistons’ injury report on Saturday morning, Stewart’s absence opens up a spot in the starting lineup. Paul Reed, who started alongside Beef Stew in Wednesday’s win over the Bulls, will have solid streaming upside since Jalen Duren (ankle) is also out.
  • DET Forward-Center #28
Isaiah Stewart (illness) is questionable to play against the Clippers on Saturday.
Stewart is a late addition to the injury report, which isn’t uncommon when illnesses pop up. He’s been starting with Jalen Duren (ankle) sidelined, but if Stewart is out as well, Paul Reed would likely step in as the starting center and have tons of upside as a streamer.
  • DET Guard #23
Jaden Ivey produced eight points (3-of-7 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), three rebounds and four assists in Wednesday’s win over the Bulls.
Cade Cunningham’s absence led to Ivey making his first start since he suffered a fractured fibula during a January 1, 2025, game against the Magic. He’s still on a minutes restriction, so the Pistons’ guard was unable to take full advantage of the opportunity. But Ivey did dish out four assists, with only Paul Reed (9/6/6/1 with one three-pointer) having more among the Pistons starters. Ivey still isn’t at the point where he should be rostered in most redraft leagues, and that’s unlikely to change anytime soon.

Paul Reed tallied eight points (4-of-9 FGs), eight rebounds, four assists and one steal in Sunday’s win over the Cavaliers.
The Pistons did not have Tobias Harris or Jalen Duren for Sunday’s game, so Reed joined Isaiah Stewart in the starting lineup. “BBall Paul” wasn’t a prolific scorer, but the rebounds and assists will be helpful to the few who streamed him. As for Stewart, he supplemented his eight points with three rebounds, two assists, two steals and three blocked shots. He remains the superior option for fantasy managers while Harris and Duren remain out.
  • DET Forward #7
Cade Cunningham, Duncan Robinson, Ausar Thompson, Paul Reed and Isaiah Stewart will start Sunday’s game against the Cavaliers.
The Pistons remain without Tobias Harris and Jalen Duren, opening up two spots in the starting lineup. While Stewart’s starting nod is not a surprise, Reed’s raises some eyebrows. He hasn’t started a game since November 14, when the Pistons were without Duren, Stewart and Harris. The three perimeter starters are unchanged.
  • DET Center #0
Jalen Duren (ankle) will be re-evaluated in one week.
This means Duren should be re-evaluated on Jan. 10, with the Pistons playing four games before then, including a game on that day. Isaiah Stewart should occupy the starting center minutes in his absence, with Paul Reed filling out the reserve role.
