Ron Holland amassed 18 points (6-of-10 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), three rebounds, two assists, two steals, one block and three three-pointers in Wednesday’s win over the Bucks.
Holland was one of seven Pistons to score in double figures on Wednesday, with the 18 points being the most he’s scored in a game since the season opener against Orlando (19). With Detroit knowing that it will be the top seed in the East when the playoffs begin next weekend, there may be additional opportunities for Holland to score in the team’s final two regular-season games. If so, he may offer added value to those competing in active fantasy leagues.

Tobias Harris (knee) is questionable for Saturday’s game against the 76ers.
Harris suffered a left knee contusion during the first quarter of Thursday’s win over the Timberwolves and did not return. If he’s unable to play, Javonte Green and Ron Holland are potential replacements in the starting lineup. Green started the third quarter of Thursday’s game, likely an indication of who would be head coach JB Bickerstaff’s pick.

Tobias Harris (knee) is out for the remainder of Thursday’s game against the Timberwolves.
Harris played just six minutes before exiting Thursday’s game. Due to a left knee contusion suffered while converting a layup over Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert, the veteran forward is done for the night. More minutes will be available to Javonte Green and Ron Holland.

on Holland tallied 13 points (4-of-7 FGs, 3-of-5 FTs), two rebounds, two steals, two blocks and two three-pointers in Saturday’s win over the Timberwolves.
After totaling six points in his last three appearances, Holland more than doubled that tally on Saturday. The 13 points were the most he’s scored in a game since March 12, when the second-year wing scored 15 in a win over the 76ers. Another positive regarding Holland’s performance was the defensive production, as he recorded four “stocks.” Before Saturday, he last hit that number during a January 5 blowout of the Knicks. Holland is not a must-add player going into Detroit’s four-game Week 23, but he could have added value early on due to the back-to-back on Monday and Tuesday.

Tobias Harris (hip) is questionable for Saturday’s game against the Timberwolves.
Harris was initially questionable ahead of Thursday’s win over the Thunder, a game in which he played 26 minutes. If he can’t play against the Timberwolves, Javonte Green and Ron Holland would likely see their opportunities increase.
  • DET Guard-Forward #9
Ausar Thompson (ankle) is questionable to play against the Timberwolves on Saturday.
Thompson played through the ankle injury on Thursday but could end up missing this game. Ron Holland would likely be next in line to step into a starting spot, though with Tobias Harris and Jalen Duren questionable as well, there could be multiple open places in the starting frontcourt.

Tobias Harris (hip) is questionable for Thursday’s game against the Pelicans.
Harris played in Wednesday’s loss to the Hawks, a game he was initially listed as probable for. Thursday’s questionable tag means there’s a better chance the veteran forward won’t play. If Harris sits, Javonte Green and Ron Holland are potential replacements in the starting lineup. Green is probable with a sprained ankle.
  • DET Guard #31
Javonte Green (ankle) is questionable to play against the Hawks on Wednesday.
Green has been playing a role on the wing off the bench for Detroit as of late, so his potential absence will open up extra minutes. Ron Holland should take on a larger role if Green is unavailable.
  • DET Forward #12
Tobias Harris (hip) is out for Friday’s game against the Grizzlies.
Harris is dealing with a hip injury, and his absence opens up a spot in the starting lineup. Ron Holland is a potential replacement and would be worth streaming in deep leagues given the opportunity and matchup.
  • DET Guard-Forward #9
Ausar Thompson (ankle) is out for Thursday’s game against the 76ers.
Injured during Thursday’s loss to the Spurs, Thompson has not appeared in a game since. Marcus Sasser has moved into the starting lineup, but Thompson’s absence has also resulted in more minutes for Ron Holland II. Holland offers a slightly higher short-term fantasy ceiling while the Pistons await Ausar’s return.
