Naz Reid (shoulder) is available for Tuesday’s matchup with the Jazz.
Reid exited Saturday’s matchup with the Spurs early with the shoulder injury, but he’ll be back in action without missing a game. With Rudy Gobert (hip) also available, Reid should occupy his usual spot off the bench.

Rudy Gobert (hip) is not on the injury report against the Jazz on Tuesday.
Gobert missed Saturday’s game, but he’ll return to take on his former team. Naz Reid will head back to the bench, though he is questionable with a shoulder issue. His status will determine if Joan Beringer is part of the rotation or not.
  • MIN Center #27
Rudy Gobert (hip) is out for Saturday’s game against the Spurs.
Gobert will sit out Saturday’s game, which is the second in as many nights for the Timberwolves. Naz Reid is the likely replacement in the starting lineup, but there will also be more minutes available to rookie Joan Beringer.

Rudy Gobert (hip) is questionable to play against the Spurs on Saturday.
Gobert could end up sidelined on the second night of a back-to-back. Naz Reid would likely fill his spot in the starting lineup after scoring 25 points on Friday. Joan Beringer would also see a bump in minutes down low off the bench.

Rudy Gobert recorded a double-double on Friday with 10 points (4-of-7 FGs, 2-of-10 FTs), 13 rebounds, one assist, two steals and two blocks against the Rockets.
Gobert added another double-double to his season total and was able to make a big impact on the defensive end. However, it was an abysmal night for him from the free throw line. Both teams struggled in that department; Minnesota shot 20-of-35 on free throws, while Houston shot 20-of-34. The struggles seemed to be contagious, but nobody got hit harder than Gobert. Still, managers aren’t relying on Gobert for help in that category, and he was able to contribute in enough other areas to make up for it.

Rudy Gobert finished Sunday’s win over the Spurs with two points (1-of-4 FGs, 0-of-2 FTs), 14 rebounds, three assists, one steal and one blocked shot.
Gobert picked up his sixth flagrant foul point of the season in the third quarter of Sunday’s game when Victor Wembanyama landed on his foot after a three-point attempt due to the Timberwolves’ center’s closeout. Gobert’s rebounding production was solid, but that was the lone positive. He’ll be suspended for Tuesday’s game in Milwaukee due to the flagrant foul points, and Gobert’s likely to be fined for bumping into an official after the flagrant foul.

Rudy Gobert recorded 13 points (5-of-6 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), 17 rebounds, one assist and two blocks over 32 minutes in Tuesday’s one-sided win over the Heat.
Gobert notched his 15th double-double of the season and came within one board of matching his previous season-high mark. The 33-year-old veteran center has been a modest disappointment roughly midway through the year but he’s been a rebounding machine over the past two weeks, averaging 12 boards per-game during that seven-game span, while also chipping in 10.6 points and 2.4 blocks.

Rudy Gobert amassed 18 points (8-of-10 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), 14 rebounds and four blocked shots in Sunday’s win over the Wizards.
After a slow start to the season, Gobert has kicked things up a few notches in recent weeks. And that’s thanks mainly to increased production in the rebound, steal and blocked shot categories. Over the past two weeks, Gobert has averaged 11.9 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 2.6 blocks per appearance, providing top-40 per-game value in eight-cat formats. While his season-long fantasy value remains low, there’s light at the end of the tunnel for those who have Gobert rostered.

Rudy Gobert finished with nine points (4-of-7 FGs), 12 rebounds and six blocks against the Nuggets on Thursday.
Though Gobert finished one point shy of a double-double, he was still able to have a productive fantasy night in what has been a strong season for him. Of course, Nikola Jokic’s monster night will take away from what Gobert did, but it was solid for fantasy managers before he fouled out in overtime. The former Defensive Player of the Year recorded double-digit rebounds for a seventh straight game and set a new season high for blocks.

Rudy Gobert amassed 11 points (4-of-6 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), 16 rebounds, two assists, two steals and three blocked shots in Tuesday’s win over the Knicks.
Gobert continued his dominance on the glass, extending his streak of games with at least 12 rebounds to six. Add in the defensive stats and percentages, and this was an excellent night for the veteran center. Over the last two weeks, Gobert has been close to a top-50 player in eight- and nine-cat formats. Continuing on that path would go a long way toward ensuring that Gobert’s season-long fantasy value aligns with his Yahoo! ADP (68).
