Celtics released guard Rusty LaRue.
Even though Tony Delk is gone, the Celtics decided not to LaRue as a third point guard. Jiri Welsch apparently will fill that role, so the Celtics are going to have to hope that Mike James and Marcus Banks stay healthy.
