While details of Kinsey’s contract have not been made official, he’s expected to be in training camp with the Warriors on an Exhibit 10 deal. The former Marshall standout has yet to appear in an official NBA game, seeing all of his professional action with Utah’s G League affiliate over the last two seasons. Last season, Kinsey averaged 12.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 0.9 steals and 1.1 three-pointers per game.

A little over one month after the Jazz signed Kinsey to a two-way contract, the team will reportedly waive him. Undrafted out of Marshall, the 6-foot-5 guard spent most of last season with Utah’s G League affiliate, agreeing to a 10-day deal with the Jazz in early March. Kinsey’s exit frees up a two-way slot for Utah, with Jason Preston and Micah Potter occupying two spots.

Undrafted after a standout career at Marshall, Kinsey has been with Utah’s G League affiliate this season. Perimeter shooting has been one of his strengths, as he’s shooting nearly 47% from three this season. Kinsey’s addition to the Jazz roster will not impact fantasy basketball.
