Pistons guard Terrico White tweeted Wednesday that the Pistons have released him.
White’s foot injury cost him his rookie year, and second round draft picks generally don’t survive that type of situation. That said, we wouldn’t be surprised to see him land elsewhere if his above-average athleticism hasn’t been impacted by the injury.

Terrico White is drawing interest from the Italian team Virtus Bologna.
White was released by the Pistons in December of 2011, and after playing in Las Vegas summer league, he’s drawing some interest from overseas. He was cut by the Hornets in training camp before the 2011-12 season and is likely better off overseas.

Terrico White is hoping to hook on with the Phoenix Suns.
White will be in training camp with the Suns after playing overseas and is hoping to make the team’s final roster. “I’m very motivated,” White said. “Everyone counted me out. I heard things like, ‘He’s failed throughout his whole career.’ With this opportunity, this is my chance to prove I belong in the NBA and show everyone that I’m a way better man and a way better player now than I was at 20 years old.” Even if White is able to play his way on to the Suns final roster, he won’t provide any value in standard fantasy leagues.

Terrico White officially signed a training camp deal with the Suns.
White is hoping to hook on with the Suns after spending time overseas, but he’s a long shot to make the final roster. Even if the 25-year-old is able to survive final cuts, he’s can be left undrafted in all fantasy leagues.

Terrico White has reportedly reached an agreement to sign with the Suns.
White was drafted by the Pistons back in 2010, but he broke his foot during a preseason game which ended up costing him his entire rookie season, and he was later waived by Detroit. While the specifics of the deal have not yet been released, it’s likely nothing more than a training camp invite, and he’s a long shot to make the regular-season roster. Feel free to ignore White in all leagues on draft day.
