Tibor Pleiss, a 2010 draft pick, will “likely” leave his German team this summer.
Pleiss was selected with the No. 31 pick in 2010 and his draft rights are owned by the Thunder. With Nazr Mohammed’s contract up after the season, it’s conceivable Pleiss could join the NBA as soon as the 2012-13 season.

Thunder prospect Tibor Pleiss has reportedly signed a four-year deal with the Spanish team Caja Laboral.
Darnell Mayberry reports that Pleiss will no longer participate in Summer League as was originally planned, but Pleiss will have a buyout clause in his new deal overseas. Pleiss confirmed that he would still like to play in the NBA, but the earliest we’ll see him is the 2013-14 season.

According to Andy Larsen of KSL.com, the Jazz have been disappointed with Tibor Pleiss’ performance in both games and practices.
While Pleiss is on the books for $3 million next season, Larsen said that his chances of making the 15-man roster took a hit when the Jazz signed rookie Joel Bolomboy this week. Larsen also adds that Jeff Withey likely has an edge over Pleiss right now, so it sounds like he’s probably going to be waived along with Chris Johnson.

Tibor Pleiss scored a game-high 20 points on Wednesday, making 6-of-9 field goals and 6-of-6 free throws with eight rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block and five fouls in 24 minutes.
Pleiss warmed up as the game went along but the low level of competition can’t be overstated -- he’s yet to find any consistency in Vegas and was shooting a combined 5-of-18 in his previous three games. To his credit he did sink a pair of 3-pointers tonight, after going 0-of-2 from deep during his entire rookie season, but he’ll only creep onto the fantasy radar if he leapfrogs Jeff Withey for the backup C job.

    Sixers waive C Tibor Pleiss.
He was brought over in a trade from the Jazz over the weekend. Pleiss is very likely to play overseas next year and might stay there for his playing career.

According to CSN Philadelphia’s Jessica Camerato, the Sixers are likely to waive Tibor Pleiss.
The Sixers just don’t have room on the roster for a project like Pleiss. Even if Pleiss isn’t waived, it will be very difficult for him to crack the rotation and generate any form of fantasy value.

Tibor Pleiss scored 14 points with six rebounds, one steal, one block and two 3-pointers in 22 minutes against the 76ers on Thursday.
He’s played well in his three Summer League games. General manager Dennis Lindsey talked about Pleiss extending his ranged, which has clearly been a focus despite a very flat, awkward form. With Boris Diaw in the mix, Pleiss likely won’t be in the rotation. The German big man still has some upside in a few years for extremely deep Dynasty leagues.

The Sixers are planning to waive Tibor Pleiss, according to his agent.
The 26-year-old has a chance to hook on with another NBA team once he’s waived, but he won’t be anything more than a backup and can be ignored by fantasy owners.

Kendall Marshall has been traded to the Jazz in exchange for Tibor Pleiss, two second-round picks and cash.
The Jazz are planning on waiving Marshall before his $2 million contract becomes guaranteed on Saturday, so he’s going to be a free agent. There are a few teams around the league that are still in need of a backup PG, so he should be able to draw some interest. He’s off the fantasy radar for now.

Tibor Pleiss has been traded to the 76ers along with two second-round picks and cash in exchange for Kendall Marshall.
The Jazz are simply clearing up some salary cap space because they plan on waiving Marshall. The last thing Philly needs is another big in their loaded frontcourt, so Pleiss wouldn’t be in the rotation barring a roster move.
