Ariel Hukporti (mouth) is questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Spurs.
Hukporti exited Monday’s win over the Pelicans during the second quarter after suffering a mouth contusion. If he can play on Wednesday, the second-year center will play rotation minutes, as Mitchell Robinson (ankle) is out. If Hukporti can’t play, Guerschon Yabusele and Trey Jemison will pick up additional minutes.

Ariel Hukporti (mouth) will not return to Monday’s game against the Pelicans.
Hukporti took a Zion Williamson forearm to the mouth during the second quarter of Monday’s game. Rushed back to the locker room to receive medical attention, he has been diagnosed with a mouth laceration and will not return. With Mitchell Robinson out for injury management reasons, Guerschon Yabusele and Trey Jemison have picked up rotation minutes.
  • FA Center #55
    Lakers waived C Trey Jemison.
Jemison appeared in 38 games during the 2024-25 season, with 22 coming as a member of the Lakers. In those 22 outings, the 6-foot-11 center averaged 2.6 points and 2.8 rebounds in 10.3 minutes. Waiving Jemison was necessary, as the team needed to free up a two-way contract slot. Having already agreed to a two-way deal with undrafted rookie Eric Dixon after last month’s draft, the Lakers recently agreed to sign Christian Koloko and Chris Manon to similar deals.
  • LAL Center #11
Jaxson Hayes (hand) and Jarred Vanderbilt (foot) are questionable for Sunday’s game against the Trail Blazers.
The Lakers secured the third seed in the West with their win over the Rockets on Friday. Sunday’s rotation will look nothing like the core that will take center stage in the postseason next weekend. If Hayes and Vanderbilt do not play on Sunday, Trey Jemison is one of the frontcourt players who will figure more prominently in the rotation.
  • LAL Center #55
Trey Jemison (illness) is available for Wednesday’s game against the Nuggets.
Jemison is available after a three-game absence. However, his return will not impact fantasy basketball, as starting center Jaxson Hayes is available. Jemison or Christian Koloko will be the backup center, and neither should be rostered in fantasy leagues.
  • LAL Center #55
Trey Jemison (illness) is questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Nuggets.
Jemison has missed the Lakers’ last three games with an illness, but his absence has not impacted fantasy basketball. Christian Koloko picked up a few minutes off the bench but is not worth rostering in fantasy leagues.
  • LAL Center #55
Trey Jemison (illness) is out for Monday’s game against the Spurs.
Jemison’s continued absence does not impact fantasy basketball, especially with Jaxson Hayes in the Lakers’ lineup. Christian Koloko will remain the backup center, but that isn’t enough to merit being rostered in fantasy leagues.
  • LAL Center #55
Trey Jemison (illness) has been ruled out against the Suns on Sunday.
Jemison will miss a second-straight game with an illness, which will allow Alex Len and Christian Koloko to continue to split the minutes at center. Unfortunately, neither big has been a viable fantasy option despite an increased role.
  • LAL Center #55
Trey Jemison (illness) is out for Friday’s game against the Nuggets.
Jemison will not be available for Friday’s game due to an illness, leaving the Lakers light on options at the center position. Alex Len and Christian Koloko will take on the unenviable task of defending Nikola Jokic. Neither player is worth the risk in most fantasy leagues.
  • LAL Center #55
Trey Jemison (illness) is questionable for Friday’s game against the Nuggets.
Jemison did not play in Thursday’s loss to the Bucks, resulting in Christian Koloko playing 15 minutes off the bench. Rotation minutes would again be available to Koloko if Jemison doesn’t play, but he should not be rostered in fantasy leagues.
