Packers signed Alabama LB Adrian Hubbard.
Hubbard (6-foot-5 7/8, 257) looks the part getting off the bus, but was a big disappointment in Tuscaloosa, managing 17 career tackles for loss and nine sacks in three seasons. He played strong-side outside linebacker in Nick Saban’s 3-4. At the Combine, Hubbard ran 4.69 with a 38 1/2-inch vertical and 9-foot-9 broad jump. Hubbard has starting-caliber athletic traits, but isn’t an explosive edge rusher, lacks strength, and technical flaws held him back throughout college. He’s a project who may have to gain weight and convert into more of a line-of-scrimmage player to pan out.
