Colts coach Shane Steichen said he expects LT Bernhard Raimann (elbow) to “give it a go” in Indianapolis’ Week 17 game against the Jaguars.
The Colts will likely be forced to throw often against a pass-funnel Jaguars defense in Week 17, so whatever Raimann give them could be an upgrade on Luke Tenuta in a game where they’ll need to keep Jacksonville’s pass rushers away from Statue Phil Rivers. It does sound like there’s a chance he will sit or that he’s at a re-aggravation risk based on this wording.

Colts LT Bernhard Raimann (elbow) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.
Raimann missed Week 16’s game with the elbow issue. A limited practice to open the week is a good sign for his Week 17 availability. Center Tanor Bortolini is currently in the league’s concussion protocol and did not practice today. He is likely out for Sunday’s game.
  • IND Tackle #79
Colts LT Bernhard Raimann (right elbow) will not play in Week 16 against the 49ers.
Raimann got in one limited practice this week before being listed as questionable for Monday’s game. Downgrading him to out this early means he wasn’t that close to suiting up. Raimann will eye a Week 17 return. Luke Tenuta took over for Raimann in Week 15 and could be the next man up once again.

Colts T Bernhard Raimann (elbow) did not practice Friday.
He hasn’t practiced on either Thursday or Friday ahead of Monday Night’s game against the 49ers. Raimann left Week 15’s game against the Seahawks, giving way to Luke Tenuta at left tackle. Indianapolis worked out several offensive linemen this week. It would not be surprising if Raimann were placed on IR ahead of Monday’s game.

Colts signed OT Bernhard Raimann to a four-year, $100 million extension.
The mega-deal catapults Raimann into the top seven in highest total value contracts amongst active offensive linemen, with the team locking him up through the 2029 season. Raimann received Pro Football Focus’ eighth highest overall grade during the 2024 season, highlighted by one of the top pass blocking grades in the league after allowing just 20 total pressures on 471 pass blocking snaps. The deal includes $60 million in guaranteed money, a staggering mark that stands as the second most in the league.
  • IND Tackle #79
Colts LT Bernhard Raimann (knee) will play in Week 13 against the Patriots.
Raimann missed two games with the knee issue but is good to go for Week 13. Matt Gonclaves had been starting in his place and could stay in the lineup, only at right tackle. Braden Smith is out for personal reasons this week, leaving an opening for Gonclaves on the right side.
  • IND Tackle #79
Colts LT Bernhard Raimann (knee) was limited in practice on Wednesday.
He hadn’t practiced since suffering a knee injury on the Wednesday leading up to Week 11. The Colts need all the help they can get on the offensive line with Tanor Bortolini (concussion) likely to miss the game.
  • IND Tackle #79
Colts declared T Bernhard Raimann, TE Will Mallory, DE Isaiah Land, S Darren Hall, WR Anthony Gould, and QB Sam Ehlinger inactive for Indianapolis’ Week 12 game against the Lions.
Raimann still has not practiced since injuring his knee in practice a couple Wednesdays ago. His Week 13 status is probably up in the air at this point. The rest of this list is the usual inactives for Indianapolis, with three repeats and third quarterback Ehlinger joining Land — who had played in 10 of 11 games so far for the Colts this year despite just one tackle.
  • IND Tackle #79
Colts LT Bernhard Raimann (knee) will not play in Week 12 against the Lions.
Rookie Matt Gonclaves will draw the start. He has spent the better part of the past three weeks at left tackle because of Raimann’s multiple injury woes. Per Pro Football Focus, Gonclaves has allowed seven pressures and three sacks on 103 pass-blocking reps this season.
  • IND Tackle #79
Colts declared OT Bernhard Raimann, DE Genard Avery, TE Will Mallory, G Josh Sills, WR Anthony Gould, S Darren Hall, and QB Sam Ehlinger inactive for Indianapolis’ Week 11 game against the Jets.
Raimann popped up with a knee injury on Wednesday and did not practice all week. His status going forward remains extremely questionable. The only other Colts player who was questionable this week is E.J. Speed (knee), who is active. All other players here are healthy scratches, and Ehlinger is officially the third quarterback.
