Eagles waived QB Jerrod Johnson and DT Charlie Noonan.
Johnson, the first overall pick in this spring’s UFL draft, was a boy among men in Eagles training camp, just barely lasting two weeks on the 90-man roster. Still just 23 years old, Johnson will get a second chance elsewhere. He might want to try restoring his confidence with a stint in Canada.
