As expected, the NFL has named Roger Goodell league commissioner.
Goodell, who has been the favorite since the position became available, has served directly behind Paul Tagliabue for several years as the NFL’s Chief Operating Officer. He earned credit this offseason as a key negotiator during the league’s new Collective Bargaining Agreement process.
