Wallace broke his hand early in camp and recently suffered a dislocated shoulder that was set to keep him out for another three weeks. The Redskins signed David Holloway, an undrafted free agent out of Maryland in 2007, to replace Wallace on the roster.

Redskins released WR Billy McMullen, WR Horace Grant, LB Curtis Gatewood, LB David Holloway, CB Cedrick Holt, G Fred Matua, and WR Maurice Mann.
The Skins aren’t placing Malcolm Kelly (knee) on injured reserve yet, so McMullen got the axe. Matua played at USC, Holloway at nearby Maryland.
