Chargers claimed EDGE Derrek Tuszka off waivers from the Titans.
Tuszka has two career sacks in 290 career snaps and, though he started a game for the Titans this year, was clearly on the fringes of the roster. He’ll be depth on the EDGE for the Chargers, who are suddenly seeking that with Joey Bosa (groin) a week-to-week proposition if not an IR candidate.

Broncos selected North Dakota State EDGE Derrek Tuszka with the No. 254 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
Tuszka (6'4/251) was a three-year starting defensive end at North Dakota State who was a first-team All-American as a redshirt senior. He compiled 13.5 sacks and 19.0 TFLs, plus deflected five passes, during that highly productive season. The Broncos edge group is already pretty stacked, but Tuszka has some juice that should translate to special teams if he can’t earn defensive snaps. At the NFL Combine, he led the class in the three cone (6.87) and ran the forty in 4.79 seconds.
