    Colts waived WR Dezmon Patmon.
They needed the roster spot for K Chase McLaughlin after running out of practice squad elevations. Patmon has played only 90 offensive snaps in three years for the Colts and hasn’t played on special teams at all. He’ll likely be a project elsewhere if claimed.

Colts declared WR Dezmon Patmon, QB Sam Ehlinger, CB Dallis Flowers, LB Shaquille Leonard, OT Bernhard Raimann, and OT Luke Tenuta inactive for Week 3 against the Chiefs.
Leonard (back) and Raimann (ankle) were previously declared out. EDGE Yannick Ngakoue (back) is active.

  • Colts declared LB Shaquille Leonard (back) inactive for Week 1 against the Texans.
Leonard was officially ruled out on Friday. He’s got a chance to return next week, as he practiced in at least a limited capacity in all three days leading up to Week 1. It’s a small boost for Dameon Pierce’s prospects. Also inactive for the Colts are QB Sam Ehlinger, WR Dezmon Patmon, CB Dallis Flowers, C Wesley French, and T Luke Tenuta.

Dezmon Patmon caught 1-of-1 targets for 14 yards and one touchdown in the Colts’ Week 16 win over the Cardinals.
Patmon got open along the back of the end zone and Carson Wentz bought time and then made a very nice throw to hit him for the TD. Outside of that, Patmon wasn’t targeted. He can remain on waiver wires for the Colts’ Week 17 tilt against the Raiders.

Colts declared WR Dezmon Patmon, CB T.J. Carrie, QB Jacob Eason, DT Eli Ankou, DE Ron’Dell Carter, and TE Noah Togiai inactive for Week 4 against the Bears.
No surprises here. Carrie was already ruled out with a pulled hamstring.

Colts sixth-round WR Dezmon Patmon is making a push for a roster spot.
Patmon has been competing with Daurice Fountain, Marcus Johnson, and Artavis Scott. He’s reportedly had a strong camp. Patmon’s draft status might give him the edge for the No. 5 role.

Colts signed No. 212 overall pick WR Dezmon Patmon to a four-year contract.
Patmon (6'4/225) was a three-year starter in Washington State’s air raid offense. The Cougars spread the ball around, usually on quick-hitting routes, and Patmon was in the middle of it. He had 816 yards as a junior and 762 yards last season. At the NFL Combine, Patmon ran the 40-yard dash in 4.48 seconds and posted a 36-inch vertical. With the Colts, he’ll have to show up on special teams to make the final roster.
