Cardinals signed RB Diamond Ferri from the practice squad.
Marcel Shipp (ribs) was upgraded to probable Friday but sat out last week while listed as probable as well. Ferri could be special-teams insurance for Shipp, and his signing should mean Edgerrin James will play on the goal line against the Broncos on Sunday afternoon.
