Cowboys signed Ole Miss WR Dontario Drummond.
A junior college transfer, Drummond (6'1/215) spent three years at Ole Miss, breaking out with a 76-1,028-8 line in 2021. He has good size, and he uses that frame and strong hands to make players underneath the coverage and create yards after the catch. Unfortunately, his 4.65 40 matches his tape, and he will struggle to threaten NFL corners deep. His path to playing time will likely come as a big option in the slot.

Mississippi senior WR Dontario Drummond (undisclosed) is questionable to return to Saturday’s game at Auburn.
Drummond (6'0/215) was holding the back of his leg while limping off the field during the first half of Saturday’s game. If it was indeed the senior wide receiver’s hamstring, those can be tricky injuries to deal with as far as a timeline for return is concerned. For the first time in his two seasons at Ole Miss, Drummond eclipsed 100 yards. This was also his fifth game in a row with a touchdown.
