  • IND Tight End #85
Colts TE Drew Ogletree was removed from the Commission Exempt List.
Ogletree had been placed on the list after he was arrested on felony domestic violence charges in late December. The charges against Ogletree were dropped in March. Prosecutors said there was insufficient evidence to move forward with the case. Ogletree, who had nine catches for 147 yards and 2 touchdowns last season, will rejoin the Colts as a rotational player.
  • IND Tight End #85
Domestic violences charges against Colts TE Drew Ogletree were dismissed Tuesday.
Prosecutors, according to The Athletic’s Stephen Holder, “determined there was a lack of sufficient evidence to move forward.” Ogletree missed the regular season’s final two games after being placed on the commissioner’s exempt list following felony domestic violence charges in December. Those included domestic violence committed in the presence of a person younger than 16.
  • IND Tight End #85
The NFL placed Colts TE Drew Ogletree on the Commissioner Exempt List.
This comes as no surprise after Ogletree was arrested for felony domestic violence charges late Friday evening. The charges brought against the second-year tight end include domestic violence committed in the presence of a child less than 16 years old and domestic battery resulting in moderate bodily injury.
  • IND Tight End #85
Colts TE Drew Ogletree has been arrested on felony domestic violence charges.
Arrested on Friday in Indiana, Ogletree has been charged with “domestic violence committed in the presence of a child less than 16 years old and domestic battery resulting in moderate bodily injury.” A 2022 sixth-round pick, 25-year-old Ogletree spent his entire rookie season on injured reserve before returning to catch nine balls in 12 games this season. These extremely serious charges could mean he never suits up for another NFL contest.
  • IND Tight End #85
Drew Ogletree caught 1-of-3 targets for 33 yards and a touchdown in the Colts’ Week 8 loss against the Saints.
Ogletree was the Colts’ primary pass-catching tight end since Kylen Granson was sidelined with a brain injury. Ogletree ran a route on 45 percent of the team’s drop backs against the Saints. He’s only usable in deeper formats when Granson is out.
  • IND Tight End #85
Drew Ogletree caught 2-of-2 targets for 16 yards in the Colts’ Week 5 win over the Titans.
Ogletree tied with Kylen Granson for most catches amongst Colts tight ends against the Titans. Mo Alie-Cox left with a concussion, which may bump up Ogletree’s usage. However, he is not a fantasy-relevant option entering Week 6.
  • IND Tight End #85
Drew Ogletree caught 3-of-4 targets for 48 yards in the Colts’ Week 4 loss to the Rams.
Ogletree led the Colts in receiving yards while running a mere eight pass routes, far fewer than TE Kylen Granson, who had two receptions for 24 yards. Ogletree wouldn’t be fantasy relevant unless Granson missed time.
  • IND Tight End #85
Colts sixth-round TE Andrew Ogletree suffered a torn ACL in Wednesday’s practice and will miss the season.
Just an awful break for the product of Youngstown State. Ogletree was making noise pretty much every other day at Colts camp but will now spend his rookie season on I.R. The Colts will head into the season with Mo Alie-Cox and Kylen Granson atop the tight end depth chart. Ogletree should be ready for a normal offseason in 2023.

  • IND Tight End #85
Colts sixth-round TE Andrew Ogletree exited Wednesday’s practice with what the team believes is a serious knee injury.
Ogletree is a mammoth human at 6'7/250 and has been one of the starts of Colts camp. “We’ll wait and see what the doc says, but it didn’t look good,” coach Frank Reich said of Ogletree’s injury. “We’re hoping for the best, but it looked like a pretty significant injury.” We’ll update when we get further information.

Colts selected Youngstown State TE Andrew Ogletree with the No. 190 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.
Ogletree (6'7/250) started his collegiate career in DII ball playing for Findlay University. He started 11 games in his sophomore season before transferring to Youngstown State for his final two collegiate season. He caught 28 balls for 282 yards as a senior. Despite the lackluster receiving profile, NFL.com’s Lane Zierlein notes that he doesn’t have “NFL blocking talent” either. Ogletree was drafted for his combination of size and athleticism alone, as he doesn’t have the stats or blocking chops to warrant this selection. He will need to show some progress in training camp to have a shot at making Indy’s final roster.
