Look for James to be limited. Fellow first-round rookie Troy Williamson is highly doubtful to play.

He’ll earn just less than $7 million guaranteed. James should challenge Darrion Scott immediatley for starting job on Minnesota’s defensive line.

“I know I’m not a dirty player,” James said. “I’m just trying to play the game and it’s meant to be played hard and fast. Sometimes you do make mistakes.”

James, probably the best pure pass rusher in the draft, is probably big enough to play end in the NFL (6-4 and 263). But with teams stressing versatility, his athleticism only helps his stock. We don’t see how he gets out of the top ten.

James is a sack artist. Despite rotating, he should get to the quarterback at least six times this season.

James is said to have punched Taylor in the face, causing Chester to hit James with a chair. Coach Brad Childress called a team meeting afterwards, and Taylor showed up with a black eye. James was added to the injury report with a hurt shoulder. Taylor is about 5-11/210 and James is 6-4/260+.
