Evan Engram caught 2-of-5 targets for 12 yards in the Broncos’ Week 10 win over the Raiders.
This makes back-to-back duds for Engram, but at least he was able to haul in a pair of passes; that’s two more than he had against the Texans in Week 9. Because of the position scarcity Engram remains on the TE1 cusp, but fantasy managers who are counting on production from him have every right to be concerned.
  • DEN Tight End #1
Evan Engram failed to catch any of his three targets in the Broncos’ Week 9 win over the Texans.
Engram was open downfield on one missed Bo Nix shot, otherwise it was just desperation heaves in his general direction. He’ll be a better TE1 bet against the Raiders, but we wouldn’t exactly say he’s a surefire TE1 at this point.
  • DEN Tight End
Broncos signed TE Marcedes Lewis, formerly of the Bears.
The Broncos are looking for some tight end depth with Nate Adkins potentially missing time with injury. Lewis, 41, has played 19 NFL seasons. He has six receptions over his past three years in the league. It’s safe to say he won’t have any fantasy usefulness in Denver’s offense.

Evan Engram caught 4-of-4 targets for 36 yards in the Broncos’ Week 8 win over the Cowboys.
The last four Engram games have given you: 4/36, 5/42, 5/42, and 4/33/1. Touchdown. Or. Bust. Engram will be a TE2 against the Texans in Week 9.
  • DEN Tight End #1
Evan Engram caught 5-of-8 targets for 42 yards in the Broncos’ Week 7 win against the Giants.
In a revenge game, Engram saw a season high eight targets for Bo Nix and ran a route on 43 of the Broncos’ 63 drop backs — a major increase in playing time and usage that could suggest bigger things for the veteran in the coming weeks. Engram, who now has 18 receptions over his past four games, remains a secondary or tertiary part of the Denver passing attack but could be useful in pass-heavy game scripts. The Broncos could see just that in Week 8 against the burnable Cowboys defense.

Evan Engram caught 5-of-6 targets for 42 yards in the Broncos’ Week 6 win over the Jets.
Engram got going early in the game with four catches in the first half. The Broncos’ offense all but disappeared after halftime and Engram caught one pass for 12 yards over the final 30 minutes of action. He also lost a touchdown to backup tight end Nate Adkins in the first half. Engram is still a part-time player, which greatly reduces his weekly fantasy ceiling. His role on underneath work, however, gives him a solid floor in PPR leagues. He will remain at the top of the TE2 ranks for Week 7 against the Giants.
  • DEN Tight End #1
Evan Engram caught 4-of-6 targets for 33 yards and a touchdown in the Broncos’ Week 5 win over the Eagles.
Sitting on one catch for -3 yards at halftime, Engram rallied to reach four receptions for the second consecutive week, this time scoring his first touchdown in a Broncos uniform. He cashed in an 11-yarder for the go-ahead score in the fourth quarter, diving to reach the plane. Finally getting healthier, Engram has 13 targets over the past two weeks after seeing six combined looks in his first two contests and missing a game. Hardly world beating, of course, but at least establishing a TE2 baseline ahead of a Week 6 London road trip to face the Jets.

Evan Engram caught 4-of-7 targets for 29 yards in the Broncos’ Week 4 win over the Bengals.
Engram still looks more agile than many veteran tight ends and Bo Nix looked his way when pressured a couple of times, but Engram has lost a step. He had a tough drop on the Broncos’ final drive in the first half, prompting the broadcast to display a graphic noting he entered the game with 36 career drops. On the plus side, Engram’s seven targets were the second-most among Broncos pass catchers. For those who wish to keep him rostered, the usage is enough to justify it for now. He is a TE2 against the Eagles next week.
  • DEN Tight End #1
Broncos TE Evan Engram (back) said he is “good to go” for Week 4 against the Bengals.
Engram began the week as a full practice participant. His back injury is evidently behind him. The Broncos’ matchup against the Bengals’ pushover defense theoretically puts Engram on the streaming radar, though his play in 2025 leaves a lot to be desired. He does not need to be started this week, but he is a viable option, based on the matchup.

Broncos TE Evan Engram (back) is expected to resume practicing on Thursday.
The Broncos face the Bengals on Monday night, so today’s session is Denver’s first practice of the week. Engram’s return puts him on track to play. Whether he will be fantasy-relevant is a separate issue. For fantasy managers who are still holding him, the Bengals’ pushover defense provides a potential moment of clarity as to whether Engram has anything left in the tank.
