Myers is a penetrating tackle and the Bengals are asking their down linemen to tie up blockers more this year. Harris can play both tackle and end.

Lions G Frank Davis was taken off the field on a stretcher Sunday.

After colliding with Rams FB Paul Smith, Davis needed to be immobilized and put on a stretcher. The AP reports Davis hurt his neck but had full use of his hands and legs. Davis, an undrafted rookie, did not return to the game.

The Panamanian went undrafted out of South Florida, where he blocked for Andre Hall, in ’06. He’ll replace Ross Verba, who was cut Wednesday.
