Texans G Fred Weary needed to be carted off the field in the second quarter Sunday with an apparent knee injury.

Weary was injured while pass blocking. He probably won’t return, as the game was stopped for several minutes and he appeared to be seriously hurt.

Texans coach Gary Kubiak confirmed after Sunday’s game that Gs Chris White and Fred Weary will miss the remainder of the season with knee and leg injuries, respectively.

Weary broke his leg, while White torn his medial collateral ligament. The Texans will likely turn to rookie Kasey Studdard at right guard for now.
