TCU HC Gary Patterson said that junior S Innis Gaines (undisclosed) will likely miss the remainder of the season.
Gaines (6'2/203) was injured in the second half of last Thursday’s loss to Texas Tech. Patterson spoke to his status during his weekly radio show. It’s a potentially crippling blow, one that could have immediate detrimental impact with Oklahoma coming to town on Saturday. The junior starter had registered 31 tackles (6.5 for loss), six passes defensed, an interception and a fumble through the first six games of the campaign. Backing up Gaines on the depth chart is redshirt freshman La’Kendrick Van Zandt.
