He didn’t play during overtime. Coach Martz called it a mild concussion, although Bruce said, “I don’t have a concussion. I just got a little ...(pause)but I’m fine. I’ve got nothing. I’m ready to go.” Watch practice reports, but this doesn’t sound like it will keep Bruce out this week.

Bruce suffered a “mild concussion” that kept him out of part of the fourth quarter. But he returned for overtime and even had a beer bottle thrown at him once the Rams won. He’ll be fine to play this week.

The Rams had Wednesday off following their Monday night game. Bruce will start and is set up for an excellent day on Sunday.

Ouch. Bruce still produces and is a vital member to the Rams offense, but that number is huge. They may go to him about restructuring the deal.

“I think he’s going to be fine, but we’ll just check him out before the game and make sure. He’s got a small muscle strain in his stomach, which is something I’m sure he’ll probably play with. I’m not overly concerned about it, but we’ll see at game time,” coach Martz said Friday.

Wow. Kevin Curtis should start, with Shaun McDonald playing more. Other Rams inactives: QB Jeff Smoker, QB Chris Chandler - Third Quarterback, CB Dwight Anderson, RB Arlen Harris, RB Nick Burley, C Matt Lehr, and DT Tyoka Jackson.

Bruce is the same age as Marvin Harrison, but is thought of as declining faster because of minor injury problems. He would lose a ton of fantasy value if he ever left Mike Martz.

Bruce has become prone to injury late in his career and could be pushed by Kevin Curtis to start.

A solid day for the veteran wideout, who has become an underrated fantasy commodity as he’s aged. The Rams play the 49ers in Week 2.

Two weeks, two 100-yard outings for Bruce. After being consistently underrated in fantasy circles before the season, Bruce remains a very solid every-week starter.
