Bills TE Dalton Kincaid (knee) did not practice on Thursday.
Kincaid is now on the wrong side of questionable. It seems like he may have suffered a setback. The Bills’ receiving tight end practiced fully last week before suiting up on game day. He has been sidelined in practice since then. He is backed up by TE Dawson Knox and TE Jackson Hawes. They face the Browns’ top-tier defense in Week 16.

Bills TE Dalton Kincaid (hamstring) did not practice on Thursday.
Kincaid remains sidelined, as expected, after being labeled “week-to-week” on Monday. The Bills’ top receiving tight end is highly unlikely to play this weekend, expectedly elevating veteran TE Dawson Knox to the starting role. Youngster, TE Jackson Hawes, should be monitored though. Hawes has already established himself as a talented blocker and is averaging 2.17 yards per route run, albeit on a very small sample.

Bills selected Georgia Tech TE Jackson Hawes with the No. 173 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Hawes (6’5/253) spent five years at Yale before transferring to Georgia Tech for his final season. He didn’t play his first two seasons and his most productive as a pass-catcher was 16 catches for 195 yards with the Yellow Jackets. An effective lead blocker, Hawes can be used in the run game. As a receiver, he has a small sample size of production and is limited as a route runner. Hawes was not much of a red zone threat but can do damage over the middle of the field against linebackers. While his primary trait will be blocking, Hawes’ physical frame will buy him a chance at receiving production in the NFL.
