Caldwell (6’2/332) enters the NFL as a 24-year-old three-tech prospect whose college career was affected by the 2020 pandemic. Caldwell flashes talent as both a pass rusher and a run defender, but frequently ends up on the ground due to his undisciplined pad level. Caldwell transferred from Houston to Oregon for his final season, where he produced his most complete season to date. As a Duck, Caldwell notched career highs in quarterback pressures (25), pass-rush win rate (9.3 percent), 22 solo tackles, 21 stops and nine TFLs.
