Darling

After a big first two weeks, Darling had no stats on Sunday.

He’ll continue to start with Raynoch Thompson sidelined.

Darling played very well during September, but Thompson has been consistent as a Cardinal. The starter has some IDP upside.

More good news for the Cardinals. They are set up nicely to end their losing streak versus the 49ers.

The team leader in tackles lost his starting job in the off-season without a competition. But with Gerald Hayes out for at least two months, Darling has his job back. He’s worth grabbing in deep IDP leagues.

That means Gerald Hayes is the team’s new starting middle linebacker. Pick Hayes up in IDP leagues. Darling will back up Orlando Huff at the WILL, so he’s no longer worth fantasy consideration.

Darling played well over the first three weeks, but starter Raynoch Thompson is healthy.

Orlando Huff will move toe the middle in Arizona. The Cardinals are now on their third starter at the position in a month.

“We had people out there playing hurt already,” Darling said. “You see their heart that they were playing with. It (my knee) just wasn’t ready to go. I wish it was. I wish I could have been out there, but it wasn’t ready. This week I’m healthy, and I’m looking forward to it.”

Newcomer Orlando Huff is playing on the weak-side, with Gerald Hayes moving to the middle. IDP owners take note: Darling may not be a factor this season.
