Chargers agreed to terms with Boise State WR Jeremy Childs.
Childs is regretting leaving school a season before he was ready right about now. He’s likely going to labor on practice squads for at least a year or two.

    Chargers waived WR Jeremy Childs.
Childs, one of four undrafted free agents released Friday, made a mistake in leaving school early to declare for the draft. He might resurface on another team’s practice squad in September.

Boise State WR Jeremy Childs will forgo his final season at the school and enter the 2009 NFL Draft.
Childs made 72 grabs for 802 yards and seven TDs as the Broncos’ split end in 2008. The 6'0/196-pounder was suspended for the Hawaii Bowl in 2007 and all ensuing spring practices, allegedly for plagiarism. Childs is sure to be asked about it at the Combine, but it won’t necessarily hurt his draft stock.
