Redskins defensive tackle Joe Salave’a has lost his starting job to sixth-round rookie Kedric Golston.
Washington is ready for a full-fledged youth movement. Salave’a’s base salaries are minimal the next two seasons, so he has a chance to stick around. The Redskins may be more inclined to get rid of Cornelius Griffin, who’s due $4.2 million in each of the next three years.
