    Redskins waived G/C Jonathan Compas.
He lasted two days on the roster, going to make room for CB Brandyn Thompson. A former undrafted free agent, Compas has played in two career NFL games.
  • Redskins signed G/C Jonathan Compas.
Compas has had cups of coffee with the Raiders, Bucs and Patriots since going undrafted out of UC Davis in 2009. He’ll be depth for a Redskins team that is without starters Kory Lichtensteiger (injured reserve, knee) and Trent Williams (ankle).
  • Bucs re-signed OL Sean Mahan to a one-year contract.
With Jeff Faine (triceps) out at least 4-6 weeks, Mahan will compete in practice with undrafted rookie Jonathan Compas to start at center in Week 2.
  • Bucs waived/injured C Jonathan Compas.
The injury was undisclosed. He may be released with a settlement.
  • Patriots signed C Jonathan Compas, formely of the Bucs.
Compas has two NFL appearances to his name, both of which came in 2009 with Tampa Bay. He’s almost assuredly just a camp body for Bill Belichick and the Patriots.
