Eagles signed Alabama DB Josh Jobe.
Jobe (5’11/182) earned a starting job opposite Patrick Surtain in 2020 and played a staggering 918 snaps. Earning a 77.1 PFF grade, he allowed 26 receptions for only 209 yards (8.0 average) and earned a really nice eight pass breakups. His senior season saw him become the guy and teams were able to take advantage of over his 714 snaps. His PFF grade decreased to 65.7 due to allowing 40 receptions for 529 yards and four touchdowns. He did earn two interceptions along with three pass breakups. Jobe has the build and physicality to be successful on the outside. He needs to become more fluid with his movements and get over his mental mistakes and improve his vision to reach his ceiling.

Alabama senior CB Josh Jobe (turf toe) was seen in a walking boot and crutches ahead of the national championship.
Jobe (6'0"/178) was a starter for the Crimson Tide this year, but has been dealing with a turf toe injury for a while now. He was able to suit up against Auburn and Georgia but finally had surgery for the injury and will not be available for the national championship. Freshman Kool-Aid McKinstry will fill in.

Alabama senior DB Josh Jobe (turf toe) did not start, but ultimately played most of the game in of Saturday’s 20-14 win over LSU.
Head coach Nick Saban said after the game that Jobe (6'0/178) had a turn toe injury that flared up during the week and kept him from practicing which ultimately led to him not receiving the start. Jobe did take the field when cornerback Jayln Armour-Davis left with a rib injury, but Saban said Jobe was only receiving play due to the need at the position following the injury to Armour-Davis. He finished the day with three total tackles, and one pass breakup per Pro Football Focus.

Alabama sophomore CB Josh Jobe (undisclosed) was a full go Wednesday after participating in Tuesday’s practice in a non-contact jersey.
Jobe (6'0/178) being able to go through the full-contact practice with no limitations is good news for Alabama, as the Crimson Tide are still without backup CB Nigel Knott (undisclosed). As a freshman Jobe appeared in 14 games, accounting for eight total tackles (seven solo) and one pass defensed. He’ll once again provide depth in what sets up to be a deep secondary, especially if the aforementioned Knott is back to full strength before the season opener against Duke.

Four-star 2018 CB Josh Jobe has verbally committed to play at Alabama after decommitting from Miami (FL).
Jobe (6'0/178) picks the Crimson Tide over the Hurricanes and a wealth of other SEC and ACC offers. 247 Sports rates him the 13th best cornerback in the country, and 95th overall. Reports say that Jobe has excellent instincts along with his impressive measurables, but could be a candidate to move to safety because of a lack of to-end speed.
