Cardinals second-year DE Kenny Iwebema is sitting out OTAs after having a benign tumor removed from his chest cavity removed.
Iwebema was born with the condition, but the tumor didn’t show up until his minicamp X-rays. The 2008 fourth-round pick will be a reserve this year.

Cardinals signed fourth-round DE Kenny Iwebema to a three-year contract.
Iwebema posted seven sacks as a sophomore at Iowa, but totaled just 6.5 in his final two years. At 6'4/270, Iwebema likely has some weight room work to do before he becomes a full-time option as an end in Arizona’s 3-4 scheme.

Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt is “not optimistic” regarding DE Kenny Iwebema’s knee injury.
They’re worried he tore his ACL. Expect the backup/special teamer to be placed on injured reserve soon.
