He could return to practice today and will likely be a game-time decision Sunday.

DT Larry Tripplett (knee) is active but DT Corey Simon will start for him in week three.
WRs Marvin Harrison (wrist) and Reggie Wayne (finger), G Jake Scott (foot), and SLB David Thornton (groin) are also active.

SS Joseph Jefferson, RB Kory Chapman, LB Keith O’Neil, DT Sweet Pea Burns, DT Larry Tripplett, TE Ben Hartsock and WR Aaron Moorehead are inactive for Indy.
(6-0) Indianapolis vs (0-5) Houston is definitely a good day to rest an injury. Cato June, Dwight Freeney and Robert Mathis will play despite being questionable most of the week.

Larry Tripplett (ankle) missed practice Friday and is not expected to suit up against Houston this week.
The Colts defense is a bit dinged up right now. Cato June, Dwight Freeney, Robert Mathis and Montae Reagor have missed a lot of playing time this week but are expected to play.

Seahawks terminated the contracts of DT Larry Tripplett and WR Bryan Gilmore.
Tripplett may catch on as a rotational veteran elsewhere. Gilmore will continue to bounce around the league as a replacement receiver.

Seahawks signed DT Larry Tripplett and LB Wesly Mallard and claimed QB Dalton Bell off waivers from the Packers.
Signing Tripplett at this stage of free agency for probably about the vet’s minimum could prove to be a steal. He’s only 29 and has a history of getting to the passer. Mallard is a special teamer. Bell will be a camp body.

The Bengals visited with free agent DT Larry Tripplett last week.
Tripplett is under 30 and a decent pass rusher, so it’s a bit surprising he hasn’t generated more interest. The Bengals also had in free agent OLB Darryl Blackstock on Thursday. They’re competing with the Browns for him.
