    Steelers released QB Logan Woodside.
The Steelers also released LB Kenny Willekes and LS Jake McQuaide and waived RB Evan Hull, CB Kam Alexander, S Quindell Johnson, DB Kyler McMichael, DB Mikey Victor, OG Doug Nester, OT Julian Pearl and TE Kevin Foelsch. The two biggest names here are Woodside and Hull. Both players will likely be offered tryouts and/or practice squad spots at some point.
  • Steelers signed OG Andrus Peat, formerly of the Raiders.
The Steelers also signed QB Logan Woodside. Peat appeared in 15 games last year and made one start at left guard. The former first-round pick spent nearly the first decade of his career in New Orleans. He played primarily at left guard but still logged almost 2,000 snaps at left tackle over the years. Peat will be a versatile backup for a young Pittsburgh line.
  • FA Quarterback #11
    Bengals released QB Logan Woodside.
The 30-year-old quarterback will likely be asked to hold a clipboard elsewhere. The Bengals also waived OG Tashawn Manning and signed DT McTelvin Agim, DT Taven Bryan and C Andrew Raym.
  • FA Quarterback #11
    Bengals released QB Logan Woodside.
The journeyman quarterback will look for a backup role elsewhere. Also waived/released by the Bengals on Tuesday were CB Jalen Davis, DT Travis Bell, CB Nate Brooks, WR Cole Burgess, OT Devin Cochran, HB Elijah Collins, DT Carlos Davis, DT Domenique Davis, C Nate Gilliam, TE Cam Grandy, LB Devin Harper, LB Shaka Heyward, C Trey Hill, WR Shedrick Jackson, S PJ Jules, WR Kendric Pryor and CB Lance Robinson.
  • ATL Quarterback #11
Falcons declared QB Logan Woodside, CB Clark Phillips, LB Tae Davis, OL Jovaughn Gwyn, DL Albert Huggins, DL Joe Gaziano and P Pat O’Donnell inactive for Week 8 against the Titans.
We haven’t heard of most of these players. The Falcons remain amongst the healthiest teams in the league.
  • ATL Quarterback #11
Atlanta declared QB Logan Woodside, CB Clark Phillips, OL Jovaughn Gwyn, DL Eli Ankou, TE John FitzPatrick, DL Albert Huggins, and DL Joe Gaziano inactive for Week 7 vs the Bucs.
Woodside will serve the No. 3 quarterback while DT Ta’Quon Graham returns after missing the last two games.
  • ARI Quarterback #15
    Titans waived QB Logan Woodside.
Beaten out by Malik Willis in camp, Woodside will likely return to the team’s practice squad if he clears waivers. He completed 26-of-44 passes for 201 yards and was picked three times in preseason action. Handed the backup job last year rather than really beating out an incumbent for it, it’s hard to imagine Woodside getting claimed. He has just three NFL pass attempts in two seasons with the Titans.

  • FA Wide Receiver #18
    Titans re-signed WR Nick Westbrook-Ikhine to a one-year contract.
The Titans also re-signed quarterback Logan Woodside and defensive lineman Teair Tart. All three were set to be exclusive rights free agents. Normally the team’s WR3, injuries to Julio Jones and A.J. Brown thrust Westbrook-Ikhine into a larger role last year. He posted a 38/476/4 receiving line while being credited with seven starts. Westbrook-Ikhine proved capable in a limited role and should be able to stave off any competition for his WR3 gig in 2022.

  • Quarterback
Titans signed QB Matt Barkley, formerly of the Bills.
Barkley – who spent the past three years in Buffalo, appearing in five games in 2020 – should slide in as the Titans’ QB2 behind Ryan Tannehill. Logan Woodside is Tennessee’s other backup QB, but Barkley’s experience figures to give him a leg up. Barring injury, Barkley is unlikely to see the field in 2021, but he could become relevant if something happens to Tannehill.

  • FA Quarterback
    Titans released QB DeShone Kizer.
Tennessee wasted no time clearing up their QB room, as they cut Kizer immediately after adding Matt Barkley to the roster. The 24-year-old’s last game appearance came in 2018, but he was reportedly challenging Logan Woodside for the Titans’ QB2 job before this news. He’ll now be on the hunt for a new home, while Barkley and Woodside will duke it out for backup duties behind Ryan Tannehill.
