Rams signed KR/WR Marques Hagans to the practice squad.
The fifth-round rookie was a quarterback at Virginia.
  • LA Wide Receiver
Rams signed seventh-round WR Derek Stanley to a three-year, $1.1 million contract. The deal includes a $27,900 signing bonus.
The 5-9/178-pounder from UW-Whitewater will be tried on returns in camp. He’s battling Marques Hagans and Dominique Thompson to be St. Louis’ sixth WR, but the Rams could easily stay with five after acquiring Dante Hall.
  • CAR Wide Receiver
Dominique Thompson suffered two displaced ribs in Friday night’s exhibition game. He will miss at least a few weeks.
The annual training camp standout is now unlikely to make the Rams’ roster. Marques Hagans will likely get the nod if St. Louis keeps six receivers.
  • BAL Wide Receiver
Drew Bennett’s status for Week 8 against the Browns is uncertain.
“He seemed to improve a little it at the end of last week,” Rams coach Scott Linehan said Monday. St. Louis could use its third receiver back this week, especially with the Marques Hagans experiment failing miserably.
  • LA Wide Receiver
Rams PR/KR Dante Hall suffered a sprained ankle Sunday.
Hall was injured after a 38-yard return in the third quarter. The Rams don’t have any other good return men. Marques Hagans is behind Hall on punts.
  • BAL Wide Receiver
Drew Bennett (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday.
Bennett’s status for Week 7 is in doubt. Marques Hagans will serve as the Rams’ third receiver against Seattle if Isaac Bruce plays and Bennett can’t.
  • WAS Wide Receiver
Rams declared WR Marques Hagans, CB Tye Hill, RB Antonio Pittman, TE Richard Owens, LB Pisa Tinoisamoa, C Richie Incognito, DT Louis Leonard, and T Brandon Gorin inactive for Week 2.
Hagans is St. Louis’ sixth receiver. Leonard was just acquired off waivers from San Diego. The Rams will start Chris Draft at weak side linebacker.
  • BAL Wide Receiver
Drew Bennett (hamstring) returned to limited drills Thursday.
Bennett is still no better than a game-time decision for Sunday’s tilt at Seattle. Marques Hagans is more likely to serve as St. Louis’ third receiver.
  • LA Wide Receiver
Rams released WR Derek Stanley and WR Dominique Thompson.
Stanley and Thompson lost out on a roster bid to Marques Hagans.
  • WAS Wide Receiver
Marques Hagans made the Rams’ initial 53-man roster.
Hagans, a converted quarterback, beat out Derek Stanley and Dominique Thompson for the job. He probably won’t be an asset on offense.
