Philadelphia’s 24-0 loss on Sunday wasn’t quite as embarrassing as 44-6 was for the Cowboys in 2008, but it was pretty close.
The difference: The Eagles get a chance for instant redemption in the playoffs. Wide receiver DeSean Jackson, for one, will be ready. Eagles coach Andy Reid confirmed Monday that Jackson tweaked his groin, but it was nothing serious.
Jackson is also getting mentally prepared. He took Twitter Sunday night after the loss:
“Got smashed by them cowboys 2daaaaaay sheeeeesh its all good we gonna sting they ass next week lil buddy,” Jackson wrote.
