When Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham looks at film of the Eagles, he probably feels pretty good about his chances of adding to a fantastic rookie season in Week 17 while facing Bradley Fletcher in Week 17.

Fletcher has been roasted by the likes of Jordy Nelson, Dez Bryant and DeSean Jackson and Beckham’s been roasting just about everyone in his path, which bodes well for the Giants passing game. Unless, of course, the Eagles decide to go with a different cornerback for the season finale. On Tuesday, defensive coordinator Bill Davis said that was a possibility because of Fletcher’s flagging confidence.

“We haven’t made that decision,” Davis said, via CSNPhilly.com. “What we’re going to do is look at it all week and at the end of the week we’ll make a decision on what groupings we’ll use in the game. We’re looking at all of it. We’re looking at them and we’re looking at us and at the end of the week, we’ll make that decision.”

When asked why the Eagles didn’t make a change sooner, Davis noted that there are only so many options available on the roster and said “you can’t just bail on a guy right away and sometimes you wait too long.” Nolan Carroll and Brandon Boykin are a couple of the options to step into Fletcher’s role should the Eagles pull the plug after Fletcher helped pull the plug on their season.
