The Chargers might be making plenty of changes in the coming years, but they’re doing some of it now.
According to Alex Marvez of FOX Sports, the Chargers are shaking up their radio broadcast team, and aren’t retaining former fullback Hank Bauer.
Bauer was suspended for a preseason game in 2014 for making what was considered an anti-Semitic remark on the air, for which he quickly apologized.
The 60-year-old Bauer played for the Chargers from 1977-82, and coached for the team from 1983-86.
UPDATE 5:41 p.m. ET: Per Marvez, the Chargers said the move was made by the team’s flagship radio station, rather than the team.
