The Jaguars put wide receiver Stephen Williams on injured reserve on Saturday, the club said.

To replace WIlliams, the Jaguars signed wide receiver Jeremy Ebert from the practice squad.

The 27-year-old Williams played in two games for Jacksonville this season. He was claimed off waivers from Seattle in October. Williams appeared in four games for the Seahawks in 2013.

Williams did not practice on Friday with an Achilles injury. He was limited on Wednesday and Thursday.

Ebert, 24, has played in four regular-season games for the Jaguars in 2013, catching two passes for 10 yards. He has had multiple stints on the Jaguars’ roster and practice squad this season.
