Jed York filed for divorce in May 2026

The private lives of the NFL’s ultra-rich and famous are never really all that private. They become less private when their private proclivities become public.

With 49ers owner Jed York pleading no contest on Monday to multiple misdemeanor charges in Ohio arising from an alleged effort to engage in prostitution, multiple media outlets are following the publicly available paper trial.

Per multiple reports, York filed for divorce from his wife, Danielle Belluomini, on Monday, May 11. He cited irreconcilable differences in connection with the dissolution of a marriage that dates to 2011.

The timing of the filing is notable. The couple has two children; York filed for divorce the day after Mother’s Day.

Fifteen Mondays later, York was involved in a much different court proceeding — one that may have triggered a divorce filing, if a divorce wasn’t already pending.

It’s unclear what if any impact the divorce will have on York’s ability to continue owning the 49ers. More immediately, York faces potential discipline from the NFL for violating the Personal Conduct Policy.
